It appears that Phoenix is looking for ways to pay for the light rail boondoggle. Clean up the buffoonery in the Sky Harbor parking department first.

Blue Sky parking and other offsite parking facilities provide a service to the airport and all passengers by reducing traffic and congestion inside the airport. Charging ANY fee for them to convey passengers to and from the terminals is unwarranted. This proposal should be withdrawn by the airport authority or voted down by the city council.

To the Phoenix and Mayor, those who use this facility are residents, those who already pay taxes, use the facility and try and mitigate their expenses in this difficult economy, why punish a service that helps the citizenry, after you've raised Parking Rates far above what the Income Level is, as a tax you pass on to the employers of those using Sky Harbor.

Blue Sky offers an invaluable service to business travelers. This is allo about $$$ for the airport parking. If this passes, I want to know the legislators who voted for it. I will use my vote to vote them out.

I use blue sky on a daily basis. If they were to go out of business because of this fee I will be forced to park at the airport and it would cost me more money which I really cannot afford.

I love Blue Sky parking, so easy, convenient and affordable. Please do not add a trip fee. Also I live in Phoenix and do not agree or support the additional fees.

Sounds to me like Sky Harbor is trying to put the competition out of business because they might be losing some parking revenue. Lets be honest this isn't about reimbursement this is about PHX being pissed off they are losing business because they charge too much for parking onsite. Not to mention Blue Sky and the rest have much safer secure lots then Sky Harbor does. Its a necessary service and needed. I'm assuming this is coming from the Dumbocrats on the city council. Sal Decicio and his Republican brethren would never do this themselves or support such an anti-competitive action
