A FAIR fee for off-airport parking companies serving PHX

The City of Phoenix needs to simulate business my removing fees and collection revenue for the city at the price of everyone else both business and private citizens.

PHX Sky Harbor is attempting to gouge the off-airport parking businesses, and this gouging will be passed on to their customers. The fee is far in excess of a reasonable amount to cover actual expenses.

It is unfair to levy a tax on off premises airport parking. If you want to make prices competitive, lower the airport parking fees.

I feel that the proposed fee system unfairly targets and attacks the private enterprises that allow for travelers to have a choice on their parking options. The proposed fee hike is also discriminatory towards the private enterprises and will cause them to lose a loyal customer base while PHX collects and pockets the parking fees.

This is NOT a FAIR tax. This seems to be a way for the airport to use the off-site parking companies as a way to fund airport activities, and to make the parking more competitive (in an unfair way).

This fee only hurts the travelers since we will be the ones to pay it. Many of us prefer off-airport parking because there are many services, like washing the car, that the airport does not provide.

This fee is anti american and anti free trade. Offsite parking saves the airport in congestion. This is outrageous and another example of bureaucracy fleecing the citizens. Stop these fees! From a hard working american that's tired of taking in the hind end.

Fee is unfair

I don't agree with the fee. the airport is collecting enough from the passengers already . Are they going to charge people dropping off and picking up their friends soon ?

The cost if parking is high enough and the parking lots have had to deal with increasing cost of fuel. It might be down now but it will come back and any increase in cost if parking is uncalled for.

This will do nothing but raise the cost for consumers, especially business travelers like myself. I will not be able to park there any longer. Where does sky harbor get off charging a fee when we already pay excessive airfare and taxes t support the airport???

Ridiculous to charge offsite paring a fee. Very unfair and makes for an uncompetitive environment.

I'm opposed to the imposed tax for Preflight transportation at the airport. This is the service I use and am supportive of them

Please do not add an additional fee to off site shuttle parking facilities such as preflight. As someone who travels frequently this would be an undue burden and cost. I also do plenty to support the business inside the airport itself and paying a fee for a free shuttle ride is unfair and unnecessary. If the airport needs additional money to operate I suggest cutting costs rather than raising fees or taxes. As consumers we are sick and tired of every entity feeling like they have a right to keep digging into our back pockets. Sincerely, Todd Reid

This new "fee" is ridiculous ! To me, as a woman who travels often and alone, it's more of a security issue. The off site companies pick me up and drop me off at my car, providing an additional layer of security vs a bus that drops me off in the middle of the on-airport lot. I will NOT use the on-site lots !!

I strongly disagree with implementation of ANY fee to any transportation provider outside the PHX Airport. These firms provide a great complimentary service by providing off-site parking.

More fees are not going to make traveling any easier...just more expensive. And since the airlines are NOT friendly, making the airport experience less friendly makes no sense. These companies already provide a convenient way for travelers to "car-pool" to and fro the airport. Putting more fees will NOT reduce this traffic. This is just another way the city is trying to tax users without improving anything but the revenue.

I use Preflight parking to avoid the traffic congestion in and out of the airport. It is less stressful and allows me to arrive in a timely fashion.

I travel in and out of sky harbor every week. To impose an additional fee for the vans to simply drive through and pick up it's customers is nothing short of piracy!!

I CONSIDER IT TOTALLY UNFAIR ESPECIALLY WHEN THE AIRPORT PARKING IS THE COMPETITION
