Would like to understand the motivation to this additional fee (tax). Don't the gas taxes paid when filling up, property taxes, income taxes paid by employees, so on, so on, and so forth support Phoenix enough?
Why put more pressure on a legitimate business?

The airport should not set a fee that reimburses them for more than actual costs incurred to service off-site parking companys.

As a regular customer of an off-site parking service and flyer out of Sky Harbor Airport I strongly oppose the imposition of additional fees for off-site parking facilities beyond what would be considered "reasonable." Keep in mind travelers like myself purchase food and beverages, reading materials and gifts from venders at the airport. I elect not to park at Sky Harbir because the rates are too high. Do not penalize businesses that offer me, the traveler, better rates for parking my vehicle by imposing higher user fees.

Skyharbor could lower rates to compete. What can it cost them for another vehicle to use the roadway?

Yet another example of greed. I use Blue Sky exclusively and find the service they provide exceptional.
An excessive additional fee is an insult to this company, its employees and its customers.

I am so tired of the City of Phoenix and parking. I have parked at private lots for the past 10+ years because I was tired of getting moved around to different lots... lots that we were told were "secure" but half the time were not, all the while seeing an increase in rates. I don't feel safe on the airport city lots. My private parking company charges me a fair rate, has drivers that put my bags in my truck with a smile and give me a bottle of water for the drive home. They treat us as though we are an essential part of airport operations, which, surprisingly, the City of Phoenix, does not.

There is no reason why someone simply driving into the airport to drop me off for a flight or to pick me up to take me home should pay a fee. This applies to a family member or anyone else, including a driver for an off-site parking company.
