A FAIR fee for off-airport parking companies serving PHX

Please do not go through with this, as "The parking Spot" is an asset to the community. We would hate to lose them.

Between the airlines, rental cars, airports, etc., who many more fees are there going to be???? John Q. Public is fee'd to death now!

Totally uncalled as just a scam to drive more internal business they seem to not be to manage.

The city should be ashamed. Bad enough that the airlines are screwing us. Now the city wants to screw us before we get to the airport.

Increasing these fees simply encourages more people to come in by private services adding more traffic and driving up costs for the consumer with no additional revenue for the airport - a lose/lose

No more fees, How about charging more at the Phoenix transit system.

If I have to pay the shuttle, ALL cars entering should also have to pay. Fair is fair.

From the mind of a simple man, I do not believe that "trip fees" should be assessed against off site parking companies. I understand that the shuttle buses constitute a measurable portion of the traffic around Sky Harbor, but that does not immediately suggest that these companies are the only ones to profit from this relationship. Sky Harbor parking fees are far too expensive, therefore travelers need a more affordable option. If Sky Harbor wishes to increase parking revenue, they could succeed by lowering their own rates which would increase usage and volume of traffic. By over-charging and then expecting off site companies to make up for perceived losses is a backwards approach. I would prefer to park at the airport, but it is out of the budget ballpark. Make it more affordable and you will fill all of the stalls and increase your revenue....don't put your hands in the pockets of others who still add value to your operations.

What a ridiculous money grab on the part of the city!! Don't destroy what constitutes fair competition to your own long-term lots.

Do not charge off-site parking spaces a fee for ground transportation. I will fly out of a different airport if this fee goes into place.

shouldn't be any fee a all. We are already overpaying for this through our existing tax burden. Another example of the looter "what can we get away with" mentality.

This new fee is ridiculous. Sounds very REPUBLICAN to us. Please reconsider.

This is placing an undue burden on the people of this great city and the businesses that are providing a great service to us. I am totally against adding additional fees.

I realize there is no free lunch but this appears that once the camels nose is under the tent....?

You're not taxing them City of Phx, you're taxing your citizens since it will be passed on. And we're already paying at the airport.
