This is not a good idea Phoenix. The shuttles do a good job of keeping down congestion at the airport.

I am strongly opposed to the attempt of PHX Sky Harbor Airport to impose a drop-off fee for off-site parking shuttle drop-offs. This would be on more item on a long list of negatives that cumulatively make air travel unpleasant and inconvenient. Drop this initiative and show us that you're still on the side of the customer. This is the second initiative in the last few years to penalize off-site parking.

Many airport employee's work for minimum wages or less and need an economical option for parking and this would create an additional burden on those people who service your passengers.

You don't make enough charging people $25 a day to park at the airport?
Now you have to raise what the Parking lots charge their customers. Shameful.

Do NOT "tax" this business out of existence by adding this fee. The only FAIR way to achieve revenue for the airport's needs is to make it relative to the real financial impact of off-site vans accessing the airport to general traffic accessing the airport. A fair fee would benefit Phoenix Sky Harbor, it's patrons and all of us who frequently use off-site parking to help control congestion and avoid serious parking problems at the airport lots.

Off Airport parking is GOOD for Sky Harbor. No penalties for Private Business providing a safe service. What are the fees being assessed to the Hotel Shuttles? Let's be fair.

We pay The Parking Spot for parking. We pay whatever local taxes are assessed. Do personal parties have to pay to drop off family & friends? The Parking Spot is actually helping Sky Harbor Airport with crowd control. Less cars at the airport make security more manageable. Imagine how many more cars would be crowding our airport IF companies like The Parking Spot were not there to assist our community. WE ARE DOING YOU A SERVICE. DON'T PENALIZE US FOR THIS!

Off-airport parking companies offer services not provided by the city. Don't tax/fee them out of the market unless you are prepared to do what they do - car to terminal to car service.
