Dear Housing Company,
The students living on campus are making the humble request for a change to the tenancy conditions. At the moment we are to pay for a period of 1 year and this is quite costly. We do not always stay the entire year due to internships outside of Dronten and the Netherlands.
We thank you for providing us with accommodation during our stay. However, are internships often take place in other cities and countries. Thus, we have to simultaneously pay for 2 accommodations without using the other. We are asking that the renting period be changed from 1 year to 8 months. Individuals with internships can choose 8 months and those staying can choose a 1 year agreement.
We cannot afford the current agreement and we are appealing to you for a change in the tenancy agreement. Thank you for your time and consideration.

The momentum behind this request is heavy and real. It shows how many of us are struggling under these costs while we try to finish our degrees. I am exhausted by the constant silence from the housing company but your support keeps me pushing forward.

paying for two places at once is impossible on a student budget. please fix this system.
MY INTERNSHIP IS IN ANOTHER COUNTRY AND I STILL HAVE TO PAY FOR MY ROOM IN DRONTEN. THIS IS RIDICULOUS.
This is a problem that has been going on for years, one of the reasons I moved out my second Year of IFB. This needs to change!
This also helps 4th year IFB students who plan on going to a different university.
It is wrong to have to pay for a room when you don't live there. It is unfair to these students who are already so much in debt!
