Our bill has doubled and we use a fireplace, I would hate to see what it would be if we didn't. I have never seen electric bills like this. Why are we the one's paying for your retirement and the fees for switching from coal. We also have to pay a deposit again cause I'm a month behind, I called they said cause I'm behind and this month bill was higher than last month's bill.

We r having it hard already with little to no jobs. How r we suppose to live having pay these outrageous electric bills. It needs to stop and I am more than happy to join and take a stand.

AEP is out of control we need another power company here so they will keep rates down, I don't know how people can afford these high power bills our winter has been mild

I have never got an electric bill like I did this month. I am on budget and they always raise it if they think it is going to be higher, they didnt. I got a $622.00 electric bill all at once and had to borrow money to pay it. Living on a fixed income I am devastated

It's ashame they are doing this to people struggling to stay a float. They are always over charging. Charging for an estimation instead of reading the meters is one good example.

My billl went up 3 times what they usually is and it was way warmer this winter than it ever been i called them and they said they was prorated and me so basically they're charging me for electric that I ain't even using yet but they speculated you to use so they spike the bill

Our electric bill is out of control. We rarely run the heat thank goodness for a warmer winter so far. Our electric has been almost 400.00 a month using it as little as possible. How does this billion dollar company expect families to survive.
