AEP is out of control! My power bill more than doubled, over 100.00 of it was in fees! This has got to stop.

Current bill of 497 dollars. Never mind we have only had a weeks worth of weather that has been cold.... does not make a lot of sense....

They billed ne 150$ extra for nothing. Our usage did go up but not hardly at all. 375$ electric bill for 2 people who both work and are hardly ever home is bs.

I sick of AEP! They are price gouging and it needs to stop. They know they are no competition in this area and they are taking advantage of us. My bill this past month doubled and it hasn't even been that cold.

How can your electric bill go up hundred of dollars and u not change anything that's is bull I just don't think they r really reading the meters and r putting all this high taxes on the bills not right what is poor people supposed to do your whole pay check for the month goes to a electric bill what about all your other bills and kids

It's is absolutely absurd that this company will continue to run its customers in the ground, simply because they have no competitors. Most folks have a very tight budget. Social security doesn't increase when AEP decides to add all those extra fees and taxes on to a bill, not to mention the payments for being late on a bill. All the while, not taking into account that these people, my people, my family, everyone around us, are having to choose between paying an electric bill, or getting their medicine each month. Paying an electric bill to stay warm during the winter or buying groceries to keep from starving to death. It's very heartless and unfair to us, while their pockets are being lined, with no worries.

My bill has doubles in the past year from what they were! Whats the reason for this? I live on fixed income an Im having to make a decision of do i want meds food or electric! This isnt the great America I've always known! Now it's nothing but greed! !!

To expensive and they are sneaky. I paid my bill online and didn't save my confirmation number and they charged me $200 in late fees.
