No competition, and not one person in Washington willing to standup against them on behalf of the consumer. We are absurdly overcharged and with no political backbone in this matter, we are screwed, and will continue to be screwed. Maybe if a couple hundred thousand people stopped paying them at the same time the millions of dollars in loss revenue may get someone's attention!

There is no reasonable reason for this type of increase. Just moved back to area, there is no reason your electric bill should be this high. First 20 days we were charged 68, now our bill is 536. We have changed nothing including thermostat in our usage. We are living in a 2 br 1 bath rental. Our neighbor was charged 700 for there 3 br. When your electric bill is higher than your rent or house payment there is something wrong, PERIOD!

They are rediculous!My elderly parents almost 600 dollars,mine almost 500,my son unfinished place of dwelling that hasn't been slept in once almost 400..And you wonder why ppl are homeless/so many drugs?Wv is #1 poverty place why because you get paid 8.75 an hour and all your pay goes to a electric bill..This place is high way robbery ! On my sons statement he used not as much as my sister but got charged more money and they expect me to believe that they check meters WHAT A JOKE!!! GET YA MILLIONS YOU OVERCHARGED HUNGRY A HOLES!!YOUR THE REASON OUR STATE IS POORLY STATED!!!

My electric is way to high im barley home and use a eden pure heater my bill almost $200 it dont make since i barley cook dont use much hot water take luke warm showers use energy saving tv barley there cause im working 3 jobs it shouldn't be that high please fix it

My electric bill went from $278 in November to $489 in December and jumped to $886.00 for the month of January. When I called to find out why the bill jumped so much, I was told because it has been cold outside
