My mother only gets $700 a month and can't afford to buy food to last a whole month and they want to charge outrageously for electric and she is the only one that lives in that small trailer yet her electric is so high she has to go without just to pay it. I really don't think it's fair she has to live on bologna sandwiches just so they can fatten there pockets!!

I've made repairs and cut down the thermostat and mine is still a lot higher this year. Even with the weather not being bad.

49.00 of chares on my bill that I should not have to pay for! I live on a budget every month so I don't have to get help from the government! You AEP is making that imposible for me to do so! You are going against everything to make your almighty dollar whether you ruin our country or not! You are making it imposible for the middle class people that are working hard to stay off a government hand out!

My power bill isn't in my name, but it went from 150 in November to 411 in December. For the month of January it was in the 380's. We struggle to make it as it is this is just ridiculous!!!

There is no way my power bill was 529 dollars first if all it wasn't that cold,next we used our fire place when it was cold.didnt have Christmas lights.

Ironically, these rate hikes seem to occur around this time every year. Not to mention, they could save a ton of money just not sending out the monthly "your energy rating stinks!" letters! It's just propaganda for their monopoly!

This is absolutely ridiculous!!! There is no way possible for us to pay our $550 bill for one month let alone two months in a row!! We have used the same amount of electricity pretty consistently every month all year round and it increased by five times all of a sudden and now we are going to live without heat, our food will go bad in our fridge, and the other bills I've scrimped to pay for such as phone and internet will be for not because without power none of it matters?!!!? Stop the madness!!!! We can't afford these rates in this area and you know it!!

They have monopolized our area for too long. They rip us off in winter, and summer months even when we do everything to conserve energy, so why bother!! We are still charged with outrageous bills!

Power bills are too high,tired of paying for tearing down old power plants. AEP should have used the money we were paying them for scrubbers to burn coal but no they put it in their pockets
