It's not the people's fault power plants are shutting down and moving. We are and have been paying the burden of our electric bill and still going without warmth, because we can't afford to turn it up to be comfortable. Going without food to pay the electric bill in the winter. Not putting up Christmas lights so the electric bill won't raise.

My bill went up 200 in just one month using the same amount of power as month before an I use wood for heat

Bills are way to high and when it gets cold we freeze in the house and I hear the heat unit constantly running.

My bill has raised $100 each month and I live in a small double wide trailer with my daughter and granddaughter and during the day no one is home. I have no central heat an air a just run by a couple electric heaters that are hardly ever on except when really cold and with the nice weather that hasn't been often. My bill was close to $600 this Month. More than my pay. And if I can't come up with the rest I'm just screwed! Something needs to be done!

I hate AEP!!! Thanks to them, I have to choose between my house payment or my power bill due to them constantly raising the bill... I turned our heat to 62° and heated our house with a fireplace and still our bill was way over $300!!!!!

My electric bill is outrageous! I have family that live other places and they pay half what I pay and live in a larger home! I'm sick of it!

It is unfair to consumers to charge the high prices and put on new "charges " on our bills each month. My bill dobled in one month yet we kept the heat on the same temperature as the previous month. It's time to stop price gouching and charging what you want each month!!!

I work hard and have two children to take care of. My electric bill has been totally ridiculous. How do they expect us to afford a $400-$600 electric bill every month plus all of our other bills and feeding our children. This has definitely got out of hand and something needs to be done!
