Our power bill is high in the summer and winter. Even though we heat with gas. How can it still be over 300 a month.

Electric bills are outrageous it's bad when a person has to sit around in their home with heavy clothing and coats just to stay warm and their electric bill is still 205.00 .. then there is the elderly people who has to choose between staying warm , food or medicine ... this is out of control and someone needs to do something about it .

We have cut our energy usage in almost half yet our bill continues to increase almost doubling. It's insane. I've replace bulbs with LEDs switched to smart thermostats plugs and switches. There is just no winning with AEP. Especially in the winter when they increase rates of paying customers to cover costs of those who get heating assistance.

This company is charging way to much. Or are just charging you what ever they want to. only snowed once this year lasted 2 days and my electric bill was over 250 dollars. been in the 60's and 70's mostly all month of dec. Stop charging us that stupid retirement charge to I'm not paying you to close a plant down that's your companies problem.

AEP is out of control. It's a shame that electric bills are more than your house payment. People can't afford these kind of bills. We need to stop AEP from taking advantage of people. It's a shame that nothing has been done.

the bill is so high people on a fixed income can't buy other things they have to have. you pay over $300 or $400 for an electric bill out of $735 how do you make it?

How can you, in good conscience, kick us while we are down? We are a region struggling to earn a living since so many jobs have been lost because of the coal industry decline! And you are slamming us with charges for things that WE should not have to pay for!!!! Send that Bill to the EPA! Shame on you for making people have to choose between having electricity or paying for their other basic needs! SHAME. ON. YOU!

My electric bill is almost $200 this month for a tiny house & mild winter. My home only 1000 sq feet it is also, considered an energy efficient home. We have had hardship & are afraid to upgrade to a larger home because we can't afford a $400 electric bill. That would actually be more than our current house payment. That big bill is without the extra protection they are now selling.
