I think it is a a shame the power bills are so high when we haven't had a bad winter. My thermostat stays on one temperature or I tune it off slit because of the warm weather. Our kids are losing out on a lot
because of such high power bills. It needs to stop

My electric bill is quadruple what it should be. The "taxes" applied to my bill, are more than the bill itself.

bill should be the same amount every month! No bill should jump from $100 to $500 when you are using the same amount every month!

Me and my son live in a small 2 bedroom home that i built 4 years ago. The house is built very well and it extremely well insulated. I cut no corners in the construction and have a new very efficient heat pump and keep the thermostat on 62. We are never home all day until late in the evening and i also have a programmable thermostat that drops the temp in the day. This month my bill is 360 dollars. This is rediculous. 2 years ago my bill ran about 140 a month

Our electric bill was 381.00 this month. It has never been this high. January's bill is always higher then any other month but not this high. It has never been over 300 and what makes me mad is it really hasn't even been that cold. We had the one week with temps in the teens but other then that its been unseasonably warm. Also what the heck is Big Sandy Retirement Rider 3.7089000% and Big Sandy 1 Operation Rider @ 0.0058000 Per KWH
and Environmental Adj 9.9045000% ?!?! that last one was a few cents from being 40.00

I leave my thermostat on 69 which is lower than I ever have. When the weather was at its coldest i kept a fire in a wood burning stove. During that time my central heat rarely kicked on, yet my bill was over $400. It would have been closer to $300 if not for all the different taxes that are now on our bill.

I am very upset about all the extra charges on my bill, we struggle to pay the high rates as it is and this just makes it that much harder. They know people have to have electricity and that gives them the advantage.

It is ridiculous to pay such taxes and fees on our power bill. Regular power use 275.00. Fees 0ver 100.00 making ours 388.00. Something needs to be looked into.
