Mine went up $100. two months straight.... I have kept my thermostat on 67-68 and only use one lamp on in my house at night... not sure why the increase.

Help the poor my two daughters has wood stoves in there homes there bills are 3ti 4 hundred month this is out rage they don't have heat pumps.

This is very true..people having to choose to pay electric bills or buy groceries if u don't pay the bill u lose your electric and food..

This is insane to think we can afford this! Me and my husband should have an Electric bill higher than our house payment! We did not ask to change over to natural gas!

These people are already hurting because of all the jobs being lost because of coal companies being shut down so you monopolize on their pain by charging them outrageous amounts for electricity. You should be ashamed of yourself. That's the problem with this country. It's all about big corporations and how much money they can make. You are definitely a big part of the problem and it's time to come up with a solution to help the people that are in need!!!

I have had Aep for at least 10 years and I've always had outrageous prices with them for electric..

My AEP bill went from $220 to $520 the following month. Their is no way this must be a mistake so I called AEP and the rep I talked to asked me to check all these things in my house and said "something was using it" I explained I have a new heat pump with more sear, a new energy efficient dishwasher, no increase in water bills, and no changes at my house. Something needs to be done ASAP because people cannot afford these prices.

You should only have to pay one deposit. Myself and others have payed more than one when them.

My power bill is ridiculous and I'm on a fixed income not sure how they expect people to live. I never changed anything from November to December but my power bill jumped 400. No lights up for Christmas cause I didn't want the increase in bill.
