I recently moved from Lexington, KY to Pikeville KY. My house in Pikeville is half the square footage as my home in Lexington and my electric bill is three times the cost. I am astonished at the difference in cost.

I want to thank all of the linemen out there for working so hard and long making sure that our is on. Now we are americans and most of us don't have enough money to pay the high cost of our power bill. Please take this into consideration when you hike up our bills. Please remember the older people that lives on a fixed income that will go without power because they can't pay it.

What do we have to do?! Go back to coal oil lamps, wood and coal burners, and ice houses?! Aren't your pockets full enough?! Think of the working poor.......aren't you ashamed of yourselves?!

people on a fixed income can not pay a bill that is that high. they have other bills and food/ meds to buy.

I live in a small apartment with two other girls and our power bill jumped almost $50 dollars last month although 2 of us weren't even in the apartment and had no share in power usage. It's ridiculous!

Outragous bill for this time of year. I have natural gas and my bill was$250.00. AEP is taking advantage of their customers because they have been allowed to.

My electric bill went from about $200/$235 to $400-$500 in a month and I wasn't even home and the most that was left on was lights and a security camera.

I live in a SMALL, two-bedroom apt, and my electric bill is insane... especially in the summer. I've seen bills as high as 300 plus dollars in this little apartment thats not much bigger than the normal home's living room.... My kitchen is smaller than a lot of bathrooms.. and one of the bedrooms here looks like a closet. Theres no reason for this. My bill should rarely top 100 dollars... It's like I live in a mansion with all the windows open and 3 furnaces running most months. Im DOWN with this cause.
