I've never felt grief from a high electric bill. More often than not, I just pay it and deal with the dent in my pocket, but the bill for my household grew to a staggering $500, and I've also heard of the ridiculous rates others in my area are seeing. This is simply outrageous. This injustice to those on fixed and low income just can't be allowed to continue.

It's rediculouse how much it cost to keep ur family warm! I work my butt off and almost my whole payday has to go toward the power bill.

Elderly and disabled people on fixed incomes have to choose between utilities, food, or medication because the cost of everything has risen a greater amount than the 0.03% that Social Security raised. It is such a sad situation. Even as a working individual with a good income it is often hard to pay my own utilities with how much they have increased. Something needs to be done.

My electric bill was $321! I live in a 2 bedroom apartment! Their is no way it should be that high! Maybe people retiring from big sandy should find other ways to be paid cause this is ridiculous!

I agree, there isn't any since in a 190$ bill one month, then in warmer month less use of the utilities, it bounces up to 400. Just don't make since to me.

My bill has gone up to 500 dollars for the month of December when I was not even there and the only reason they can give me is that's the rate it was last year! I was home during that period the year before! Outrageous!

I do not have a heatpump We heat with propane .. my electric bill is way too much. We are never home... it should be half of whatit IS every month...

I purchase a brand new inside and out heat pump. My bill still has not dropped. Still paying out my rump. I was told by employee that estimate from previous years use! How will bill ever go down. AEP always sticking to the little man. They have a monopoly over Southeastern KY.

In far southwest Virginia the electric bills are between 500 and 700 a month , it is outragous!!!
