AEP charges are much greater than any other electric company and they serve the poorest people(eastern Kentucky)!!!

Gone too far! People on fixed incomes, retirees, disabled, people living in housing projects, etc., because they can't afford to live outside the projects. Electric raised to outrageous amounts.

These power bills are ridiculous. People who live on fixed income can't afford them and children don't like the dark. Please have a heart and take those high charges off the bills

Power bills continue to increase. People can not afford to pay these ridiculous bills, and if you say anything about it to the company they always blame you saying you must be wasting energy.

We received a $480 electric bill, and we do not change the thermostat or use anything major, it's out of control

I would like to know how an electric bill can be $450 a month when two people lives in the home......those two people work during the day, are gone 3-4 nights a week, wash in cold water & keep their thermostat on 68?
Also, where I work, the electric bill was over $500......it's only opened 4.5 hours per day.....we use the same things everyday & keep the thermostat the same year around....

Agree completely! Rates for other companies as close as neighboring Ohio ,have rates a third of what asp charges!

I'm the mom of 4. Always a month behind with an electric bill of $300PLUS every month. Also one whose being charged an extra $22-66 "deposit installment".. because I'm behind.

I live in a 4 bedroom trailer and our bill is over $600 a month. That is more than the mortgage payment. It's ridiculous!
