Adwa was at the beginning of the end of European colonialism of Africa. It was the inspiration for all black and others under oppression, and embarrassment to Italy and other colonials. The Green, Yellow and Red colors of its flag has been regarded as colors for independence, leading upto Adwa, thus has inspired many African flags and the Rastafarians.
Therefore, let's celebrate Adwa throughout Africa, to cherish our struggles, resilience and unity.
