I am currently compiling the formal request for a continental holiday to be presented to the African Union commission. This documentation will utilize the current petition tally to demonstrate regional demand for formal recognition of the event.

ADWA:- Adawa –The battle of Adwa not only saved Ethiopia from colonization by Rome, but also raised the status of an African country to an equal partner in the world community.Ethiopia became a symbol of the struggle for freedom and Black intellectuals and religious leaders made pilgrimages to the country.
the victory of Adwa is a victory of all black people in the world and also it inspired black people to fight for their freedom. Long Live Emye Menilik! Long Live Adwa!
This national holiday should not merely celebrated as continental level, it should be celebrated internationally as it transfers multipurpose messages. The blacks confirmed the ability to defeat the white and the whites learnt the blacks can wine the white. No more superiority of color after ADWA! So proud while I think about it!!!!
I am solidly behind this move as the victory of Adwa was the first and most important alarming bell for the independence struggle of Africans. It should be recognized and celebrated as African holiday.
I support to recognize The ADWA Victory in Africa b/c i think the Adwa victory is not an Ethiopian only it's in fact it's a victory against colonialism all over the black world
