Thank you for the info! I'm not against hunting, but I think this is a great idea and compromise, as you said. Perhaps 1 year might be better, but for now, I think this is allright.

I do agree that the deer population for bucks and doe's is imbalanced. I think that deer can be a problem in the Methow sometimes though, my family have had a few accidents with hitting deer which has been a problem financialy. But I for one do not see bucks very often and completely agree that there should be more of a balance between the both of them, I support this.

Good topic. I don't support hunting at all, but giving them a break is good news to me. People wanting them eliminated all together are cruel. Hunting is not a sport, it should not be for fun. We're talking about lives here, and people take them for fun. Sometimes not for fun but for food or skin or whatever. Anyway, good topic. I hope you succeed.
