I was subject to Perry’s rants and inexcusable behavior back in the 1980’s.

This official is HURTING the growth of water polo in the Midwest. How many need to suffer abuse before action is taken? How much more proof do you need? I pray the IHSA wakes up and finally ends their relationships with bullies and abusers.

No one, men or women, should have to feel uncomfortable at work and sports are no different.

Perry Korbakis must be investigated for his inappropriate actions. Hopefully by High School coaches and not board members who are personal friends of his.

FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE IHSA! The IHSA has been SILENT for TOO LONG. Beth Sauser, IHSA Assistant Executive Director, should be fired.

This behavior is absolutely unacceptable and has gone unnoticed for too long. When it comes to being a part of the Illinois Water Polo Community, athletes, coaches, and club directors (especially women and BIPOC women) deserve better. Our board needs to recognize that those in positions of leadership should be held accountable the same way all participants of the sport are (regardless of position).

He used his authority to make women feel obligated to be in a relationship with him that’s not right time to go
