Advocacy for Halal/Kosher School Lunches in NYC Public Schools

10% of NYC public school children are Muslims. Therefore, it is important to give them proper nutrition so they grow up healthy.

Please consider that as human rights. Thanks

We need to serve halal food for our Muslim kids.

Please, I would like to request NYC Department of Education expand this program for the benefit to Muslim Student attending NYC Public School. This City action might add a little to NYC School lunches cost but it covers all ethnic minorities dietary habit and requirements for everyday.

It shouldn’t be an argument or debate. Halal/kosher foods are for Muslims Jews and Christians and it’s way more nutritious and healthy. Even those without a faith wouldn’t be upset about feeding the child

This should be a given right to religious students.
