This petition is to make adultery illegal because as of now it is only grounds for divorce. If adultery becomes illegal that means people who break their marriage vows, which is a contract will be punishable by the law. When a person gets married thet get married they are under the impression that their partner will be by their side until death and will be faithful but when their partner is not and breaks the contract the only thing that spouse can do is get a divorce. When companies break a contract they are punished, there are consequences for their actions.Therefor, if someone commits adultery they should be punished for their actions.
