- After discussion with the Gloucester County Attorney and members of the Board of Supervisors I have been advised that we can indeed have Vehicular laws enforced through county ordinance on the “Private” roads of the Holly Beach subdivision. This action can be taken through action voted on by the Gloucester County Board of Supervisors. This will not change the roads from their private status nor will it guarantee or prompt the roads to be taken into the state Secondary system but will allow the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office to enforce laws that protect Public Safety. As a father and resident of this community I am all for protecting each child and anyone else in our community. For too long reckless actions have put this peaceful neighborhood and residents at risk. It’s time to take a stand for the safety of all and protect the property that we have invested our hard earned dollars to improve. This petition is to show how many residents have concerns over this matter and to show the board that we need change
