We the Detroit Shoreway Community request that the maximum penalty be applied to those convicted in the murder of Clarence Adkins.

We have no tolerance in our community for violent crimes. In order to make that clear to would be offenders and to keep our streets safe we would like for: Thomas Rutherford, Brittany N. Lopez, Joseph W. Woods, Robert Long Sr., and Robert Long Jr., to receive the maximum penalty in accord with their individual convictions that is possible so that we might keep them from committing a crime of this magnitude in our community or in the community of others.
