Though my son's school has finally put the word "Dyslexia" in his IEP, there isn't any service for him for his dyslexia. They have gotten better in working with him and I am thankful for that. We need legislation to put forward a plan of action when it comes to children and adults needing the correct and meaningful programs in place.

In support of my father, myself and now my son! Including dyslexia in an IEP would finally provide the attention. Intervention and specific services 1-5 kids NEED!

How can you place a child in special ed when you clearly have not means of knowing whether this child suffers from Dyslexia.

So important, misunderstood and simply missed. Early detection and intervention is imperative.
