Recognizing the need inner public school system to train our teachers and then to implement the programs that we know will meet the sale of learning the dyslexic truly needs to reach grade level and beyond and in turn never be left behind.

We really need to help dyslexic individuals. They have the potential to reinvent the way we live! NASA hires dyslexics 50% of the time. Imagine being in outer space and needing a gizmo. You cannot go to the storage unit; you must fabricate what you need!

I've been told by my principal I can never use the 'd' word with parents. We need to stop candy coating public school failure to reach these kids and tell parents the truth. But how much more effective would it be if we actually had trained teachers and effective interventions for the disabling condition.

Its so important for the law to get passed so that children, like my daughter, who NEVER received help because she was gifted AND had dyslexia AND compensated well in high school. She WAS NOT PREPARED for the rigors of college reading and writing. This was due to a failure of the public education system in providing her services.
