Address Verification at Westwood Charter

People move in, enroll their child, live here for a few months, and then move out of the district. Why are their children allowed to stay at WWC? I've NEVER heard of that anywhere except WWC. It's ridiculous and the biggest factor in the over-population problem....next to the people who use grandma & grandpa's address to come here.

Just to note that the PSA Coordinator need not be full time at WWC and it does not need to be the Principal who does home visits.

Implement an address verification plan to serve the students residing within legal boundary.

Let's keep WWC for the families who live in the district. It's not fair to those who pay a premium to live in this district not to be able to send their kids to WWC due to over enrollment.

Original property tax bills, original signed leases and minimum two utility bills should be the minimum standard annually. No copies. Forgery could be an issue.

i love this idea. makes so much sense and is fair to all involved. The only losers are those that are cheating the system. I think those that own in the area and facilitate someone else to cheat should be put on a blacklist. Their property should no longer be allowed to attend the school. There should be a disincentive for someone to help others cheat.

Should be a provision made for parents whose jobs are in the neighborhood too.

While it's a shame that such steps are needed, the popularity of Westwood charter makes this move necessary.

It is only fair and appropriate for equal rights to be ensured and for protection to be provided residents to be given first priority for enrollment in their local school.

it's imperative to verify addresses for the fairness of those who actually live within the borders WWC. I hope we can resolve this issue.
