Currently, students and daily commuters from our area face significant challenges due to the lack of a direct GO Bus connection. Many are forced to travel to Bramalea GO Station to access transit to McMaster University, resulting in extended travel times and unnecessary inconvenience.

With the continued growth of the Mount Pleasant community and the increasing number of students commuting to Hamilton and surrounding areas, there is a clear and growing need for improved transit connectivity. Implementing a bus route originating from Mount Pleasant GO Station would:

•Provide direct and efficient access for students traveling to McMaster University and nearby institutions

• Reduce crowding and traffic congestion at Bramalea GO Station

• Encourage increased use of public transportation among local residents

We respectfully request that GO Transit evaluate the feasibility of adding a new bus service or extending an existing route to serve Mount Pleasant GO Station.

Such an enhancement would significantly improve regional transit accessibility and benefit students and families in our community.
