In order to adhere to our campus's vision statement of inclusivity, we need to ensure that all new buildings built on our campus will have at least one accessible gender neutral restroom. These gender neutral restrooms will make ourcampus more inclusive of gender nonconforming students, students with families, students with disabilities, and students looking for the privacy a multi-stalled restroom cannot provide. In particular, it is important the CSUMB includes gender neutral restrooms in buildings 45 through 47, as these are heavily used classrooms and the closest gender neutralrestrooms are in the library, half way across campus. We are asking that those who are in charge of building planning on this campus listen to the students and make sure that all new facilities offer gender neutral restrooms.
