This is rediculous. We already pay gas and food to travel for these games now they want to pick our pockets just to watch our kids run around on the field. Leave the parents alone for once.
THEY NEED TO FIND ANOTHER WAY TO FUND THE GOLF COURSE. SO SICK OF THEM TARGETING YOUTH SPORTS FOR MONEY.
My son plays every weekend. We pay enough for travel and uniforms already. Enough is enough.
Warren County, if you want to charge for parking do it at the JAIL. Or let's just fix the problem all together, close the golf course and soccer fields. County help the City build youth soccer fields and the Adults can pay to play at the country club. Zero youth soccer fields in the city limits of Vicksburg, but largest youth sport in our country and state for over 15 years. FAIL by not recognizing the past, present, and future.
I have grandchildren that play soccer all over the state & I have never been charged a fee to park. It will be hard to get out of town team to come to Warren County to play when they know they will have to pay! Soccer Select teams do not have to play here & will elect to not play here! I think it is outrageous to finance the rebuilding of the back 9 holes of the golf course on the back of our soccer children's family!!

Ridiculous. Nobody is gonna want to travel to Vicksburg for a tournament if they have to pay to park. Its just gonna chase away all the out of town teams.
