The council has formally approved our request to retain the property at 22 Addison Road. Legal documentation is currently being finalized to transfer the tenancy into our family name. We appreciate the scrutiny you helped us maintain throughout this administrative process.
This petition is to keep 22 Addison road in the family, this property has been in the family for approx 58 years and now that our father sadly passed we are fighting with dudley council to keep it! Carol Begg is willing to give up her 3 bedroom parlour type house to move in with her brother, which is doing the council a favour really as it saves them a property! We will not give up and thought we would start by trying a petition, so we will be very grateful if you sign this petition to hopefully get what all our friends and family want! Thanks!
I have finished drafting a formal request for a meeting with the local housing department. We are now gathering the necessary documentation to prove the long-standing family history at this address before we submit our case to the council.

The increase in support has prompted a formal request for a meeting with the housing department. My legal advisor is currently drafting a letter to summarize the benefits this move offers to the council. I will notify you once we receive a confirmed time for this discussion.

Dudley council are a nightmare honestly. So many empty houses and they wanna kick people out of their own family home? No way.

Disgraceful treatment. Carol is actually saving them a house by moving in with her brother. Common sense needs to prevail here!

This is ridiculous. The council should be helping you keep a family home not tossing people out. Good luck.
