Adding a new Middle and High School Bus Route in the VOU

About time! Ridiculous we pay taxes for everything INCLUDING bus service but instead have kids walking near 2 miles each way or have to facilitate car pickup daily

We had a bus years ago that picked up kids at several location to take them across 80 and no one used it, please if this is granted please use the bus

Currently the bus stop for the furthest allowed bus riders for middle school is directly in front of my house, but my address is one that is not included in being allowed to ride the bus. Currently we will be walkers. That concerns me. There is no way I will feel safe letting my 6th grader walk that distance everyday and some days in the dark. This needs to be addressed for our kids safety.

As a household with two working parents, we struggle with how we will get our daughter to and from middle school next year when she starts 6th grade. I will not make my 10-year-old walk the nearly two miles to school from our house, but my husband and I are not able to drive her home from school every day. This is a major cause for concern and stress on our family. It would take her close to one hour to walk each way and I do not feel she is old enough for this responsibility, nor is it safe for her. We need buses.

Safety of our kids is paramount!

I request an evaluation of the entire bus routes for the VOU. It is an unjust system whereby a bus drives close by our street and my children are not entitled to ride the bus yet the same bus picks up students that live closer to the schools than my kids do. I respectfully think the whole bus system needs revising.

This would be fabulous

I am all for living a healthy lifestyle and encouraging children to exercise, but it just isn't safe to put your 14 year old girl out on the streets to walk alone in the dark every morning to school. We need buses out here!!

Can we add students up to and including Clendenin Way? I think it's ridiculous that they have to walk that far!

I drive 3 boys and the amount of time it takes for each car to go through the line is excessive. We are 5 minutes from the school and it takes me 30 minutes round trip every morning.

Personally think it should be for any kid that needs to cross rt 80. Especially since the crossing guard does not leave the sidewalk.

Plus it would greatly cut down on traffic and make it safer for kids to get to and from school

There absolutely be a bus route for middle and high school students in this area.

Why tf not, considering the aggressive manner in which some people drive around this neighborhood.

This is a definite need.
