As someone who became Muslim in a fairly conservative community, it was always hard for me to see how excluded the women were at my mosque. If women wanted to pray in the main area or be present in the public spaces they had to fight for that presence and ignore those who criticized them. Women--half our community--shouldn't have to struggle for their presence. Adding female reciters to your amazing website would be a wonderful way to make a statement of inclusion and gender equity for the sake of Allah.

Petitions like this should not be necessary in this day and age. The Qur'an app has clearly dropped the ball on getting women reciters. Please update the app and include the voices of the other half of society.
