Ever since a toddler, it’s been my family’s tradition to come almost every weekend to Howell’s Ice Cream King, formerly Shakeys.
Once I found out the cruelty that cows endure on dairy farms, I didn’t want to support it anymore - and I’m not the only one!
Vegan food is high in demand today - and am estimated 55% of the world population is predicted to be vegan by 2020! By adding vegan alternatives to your menu, not only would sales increase, but you would be helping the environment as well as cows who are abused on dairy farms. Not only this, but people who cannot consume dairy, eggs etc. would appreciate this as well. Nothing hurts more than watching someone have a treat you love that you cannot have any more!
Please have compassion and add vegan alternatives to your menu!
