This bus route is a life line for many people. To cut it completely is madness.

This is the same for Havenstreet. With 220 houses around 5 years ago there are many regular users of the number 33, and cutting the village off is completely ridiculous! Southern Vectis are cutting it because most of the users are either OAP's or students and so pay a subsidised fare but are not looking into the bigger picture!!!

It is outrageous that these links to outlying areas are being denied. We should encourage bus use or our villages will die.

This is disgusting that they are even going to contemplate stopping this service, even though it runs twice a week, elderly people rely on this as their only means of buying in essentials as we live so far from a shop. Shame on you Southern vectis!

So sad, they did this up north and my blind dad couldn't get to his club etc to meet up with friends and became housebound. Made a massive impact on his happy self

Southern Vectis should be ashamed of themselves for even considering this.

Some people aren't as fortunate as others whom may have access to alternative transport, however most of the passengers on the number 35 are elderly, they have no access to transport other than this bus that comes twice a week. Without this bus they won't be able to get their needs and necessities that they require.

My mother lives on medina park down Folly Lane and her bus is being stopped in September. This is my mothers lifeline along with many other elderly people who live down there. The bus only runs twice a week now and when it stops it will devastate many many people.

Cut council staff, no pay rises and look at unpaid leave for staff to reduce costs.
Well done this is a much needed service!
