Losal has a history of silencing and disrespecting the gender identities of trans and non-binary students. Implementing gender neutral bathrooms would be an easy way to show support and acceptance toward the LGBT community, and trans people in particular. Losal should be a loving, accepting community that makes everyone feel welcome.

If you’re non binary, surely you’ve faced issues regarding the usage of only binary bathrooms?? Also I don’t know if you meant to say you’re part train or not, but if you did I take this as a joke. Losal’s bathrooms which don’t conform to binary gender rules are only for staff, and having a safe space for people who aren’t considered “normal” by society’s standards would really help the community take a big step towards progression.

LosAl and it’s student has a history of being extremely hostile to trans and gender nonconforming people. This is an important first step that the school needs to take in order to let people know that hate is NOT what they stand for. LosAl needs to do better, and they need to start by making accessible gender neutral bathrooms.

It’s not okay that just because someone doesn’t identify as “normal” in there sexuality or there sexual identification they get hate. The girls and boys who go to los al get there own restrooms according to how they would like to be defined. boy or girl. but think of how uncomfortable and hard it is for someone who is gender non binary to walk into a specific boys and girls bathroom only. this is why los al should have a gender nuteral bathroom
