Given what is going on in our world, making people less likely to vote in this election due to outside circumstances they may be facing, coupled with the fact that I merely lost by one vote and there was a critical error on the part of the Honor Council on the onset of the election, I respectfully request that you allow for one more student to represent the 2L class in the SBA. Furthermore, I have been contacted by more than one person, the difference between being elected and not being elected, saying that they voted for me on the first link, but were unaware of the second link.

I am not requesting a recount or for you to count the votes from the first link, which I believe would result in me being elected, I am merely asking that there to be seven senators for the 2L year. These are unprecedented times and mistakes are inevitable, but please don’t allow these circumstances to strip me of the honor of representing the student body.

In light of the current situation, I believe that an extra senator would be extremely beneficial. There are so many issues that the administration is currently facing and an extra hand would only diminish that burden.
