Some people on the Hack Forums are very scientifically literate. The science part of the religion, philosophy, and politics section gets widely ignored and shoved to the bottom of the page/bashed.
Counter-Arguements:
1. Arguement - There wouldn't be enough users.
Hypothesis/belief - There would be plenty of people to occupy a science section, as the religion, science, philosophy, and politics section has 58,000+ posts. The Java, Lua, Python, Delphi, Perl, Android, Mac, Virtual Machines, and security sections all have less than 10,000 threads. These sections still remain, the reason being they are useful, so why not try a science section.
2. Arguement - People Don't want it.
Hypothesis/belief - That is what this petition is for.
