Katarina Azab hasn't seen or heard from her littleAdam since 18th November 2008. On that day,her sonwas abducted by his Egyptian father, Ahmed Hassan Azab. Please read this sad story and help reunite Adam with his sufferingmother Katarina.
For almost 2 years, Katarina and Ahmed Hassan worked and lived together in Egypt. Katarina was working as a tour operator for a Slovak travel agency. Adam's father refused that Adam be born in Egypt, so Katarina moved to her sister inthe UK where Adam was born.
When Adam was almost one year old, his father decided to come to Europe. Katarina helped him and supported him to get a visa tolive asa family. After 2 years, he asked his wife to spend a holiday in Egypt so that he could show Adam to his relatives. On the last day before departure back to Europe, he kidnapped Adam from his mother. A short while after Adam was taken, Katarinawas givencustody by the Egyptian court. Another court found Ahmed guilty for not respecting this court decision. Despite the High Prosecutor of Family writing a letter to the Egyptian Minister of Interior,Katarina is still without her son.
Since the Europeanmarriage of Katarina and Ahmed is not recognised in Egypt, and sinceAdam was born in the UK and had never lived in Egypt before, higher Egyptian officials should reunite Katarina with Adam.
Katarinais workingreally hard; she attends many courts, offices, organisations, media and personally searching to get Adam back.
It is a possibilitythat the father has left Adam in the care of relatives while he has disappeared. The thought of this is very painful to Katarina, which is why she has begun a private investigation.
Since the abduction, Katarina has not left Egypt andhas not been given a work permit. Therefore, her financial situation is very difficult.
This petition, a letter from the Slovak President and a supporting letter from Reunite Organisation in the UK,will all be sent to the Egyptian President.

Absolutely disgusting behavior by the father. Hope the authorities step up and do the right thing for once.
Justice for Adam. Its been way too long. Give him back to his mother.
This breaks my heart. No child should be taken from their mother like this. Bring Adam home.
The courts already decided. Why is the law being ignored? Get that boy back to his mom ASAP.
