A new gas and liquor station???? ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! Adjacent to two schools?!? Close to an AA meeting place?!? Down the street from an existing gas station and liquor store?!? Across the street from a bar?!?
The community here is well organized and will work to block the installation of a gas station/liquor store. And we WILL block it. We WILL be successful, so the developer can either come up with a use that is in line with zoning codes and aesthetic principles established by the local government and the community, or the developer can move on now and save themselves a lot of money.

No. Totally inappropriate additions to the neighborhood. We have plenty of gas and plenty of alcohol, and very little else. Absolutely not.

a liquor store right next to Murphy Elementary school? Look at other cities that have liquor stores on every corner and you will see cities with HIGH crime rates. They just opened a sports bar across the street we don't need more of the same.

There is a coast and a shell station within a tenth of a mile from there and a bar that just opened behind the pizza place. We DONT need more liquor or gas!!

this is not what we need in El Sobrante!! there are enough places to access liquor (and pot, for that matter) in the area.

Do NOT approve yet another liquor store and gas station on the Adachi site! Surely there are far more businesses that would be appropriate at this location!

The proposed uses are contrary to the County's P-1 Zoning and Design Guidelines. Replacing a use unique to El Sobrante (the nursery) with the already existing uses of gas station and liquor store would not enhance or preserve El Sobrante's suburban to rural character. I urge the County to reject the proposed use and instruct the owner to meet the requirements of the zone that applies to the property.

Not an acceptable use for this space. Please start making this a family friendly area. The last thing this area needs is another liquor store or smoke shop.

We have more than enough gas stations. Please keep the future of El Sobrante in mind and choose a community-enhancing business or development for this site.
