'With £1billion and 10,000 jobs at stake at a time when our young people are emigrating in their thousands, the people of the North West are calling on Roads Ministers Danny Kennedy and Leo Varadkar to take immediate action to progress the A5 Western Transport Corridor. How many more lives will be lost on the treacherous A5?; how many more people will lose their jobs before the North West gets its fair share of investment?'

The sooner this road is built the better. The possible construction of this road is the only lifeline there is for an economic and socially sustainable future for he town of Omagh. It is the least the people of the area deserve.

Time for a new @5
See More 4The road I live on is a minor road that links the A5 to the B48. There has been 14 accidents this year outside our house. Speed the only cause as it has many bends. We need an A5 to prevent these incidents. Two ambulances were called again today plus police.
