Petition to Byron Shire Council: Protect Our Health, Autonomy, and Informed Consent
As a former employee and resident who was forced to leave my job, home, and personal relationships due to mandated COVID-19 vaccine trials, it has become painfully clear that our community’s health, autonomy, and the fundamental principle of informed consent have been undermined. Recent independent scientific findings have identified potential synthetic DNA contamination in Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines. These findings, combined with mounting reports of adverse effects, demand urgent attention from the Byron Shire Council.
Our community deserves transparent, science-based discussions about these concerns, especially given Byron Shire’s reputation for valuing holistic health and informed decision-making.
On 10/01/2025, after gathering over 750 signatures through Change. org, our petition was unjustly removed under claims of misinformation. However, the information provided in this petition is grounded in robust research conducted by highly credentialed professionals. Silencing these concerns does not negate their validity—it only highlights the need for more open dialogue and accountability.
Notably, on 11/10/2024, Port Hedland Council set a precedent by standing up for their residents when federal agencies fell short. This action demonstrated that local councils can and should take proactive measures to protect their constituents from emerging health risks. We urge Byron Shire Council to follow this model by advocating for the wellbeing of its residents. Our Requests to the Council
1. Call on the State Government to enact an immediate moratorium on the use of mRNA COVID-19 vaccines until further independent investigations are conducted to ensure their safety.
2. Update the Pandemic Response Strategy to explicitly avoid the use of lockdowns, vaccine mandates, and vaccine passports. These measures have proven to harm community cohesion, mental health, and individual freedoms.
3. Advocate for the Restructuring of the TGA and AHPRA to refocus their priorities on human wellness, community wellbeing, and the principles of transparency and accountability. These organizations must shift from a compliance-based model to one that genuinely serves the health and safety of Australians.
4. Conduct an independent investigation into the safety concerns surrounding the current COVID-19 vaccines and provide a transparent report to the community. As members of a health-conscious community, we demand decisions informed by accurate, thorough, and independent research.
Byron Shire Council has a responsibility to act in our best interests, protect informed consent, and safeguard the wellbeing of all residents. This is not only a matter of public health but also of ethics, transparency, and trust.
We urge the Council to take immediate action to address these concerns and ensure that Byron Shire continues to set an example of care, autonomy, and accountability for its residents.

I lost two jobs, both in libraries. And although this has led to greater things for me, as I now hold meditation and sound healing groups, this was unfair dismissal in both instances, like for many thousands of others. This should apply to ALL councils in Australia.
This is an important petition. If we don't investigate the financial incentives, and/or coercion that motivated the egregious lockdowns and mandates, the authoritarian nonsense will recur.
I strongly urge Byron Shire Council to take the urgent petitioned action and to demonstrate the kind of brave initiative exhibited by Port Hedland Council.
I absolutely support all points in this petition and urge our council to do the right thing and safe guard the health of its constituents. I have been a rate payer in Byron Shire for the last 40 years.

I personally know many people who have died suddenly from heart attacks, developed stage 4 cancers out of nowhere, have been diagnosed with myocarditis and suffered strokes in this shire. Something needs to be done.
