This is a very good shout, we need massive awareness on drugs and drug abuse, Legistration is a start but I don’t think it will wipe off the availability completely some of it will still find a way to our streets...it’s also only a song to these kids abusing controlled drugs, coke, speed and u name it. I would say awareness on all levels and chanels even bring in schools be part of the curriculum under social studies, educate ourselves the less demand the quicker the drug lords will leave us alone. This is a mental health issue that our country is not yet ready to deal with let alone support the victims which is our children.

I completely agree that enough is enough! Our youth especially should be protected from this national catastrophy. If the police are to act efficiently they need to be properly educated on drugs,form,usage,effects etc and we should expect police representatives to be higly morally grounded people with an astute mind and a mind to discern what are drugs and what are NOT drugs. May THE WAR ON DRUGS IN MALAWI begin!

This was long overdue but it's the way forward at least. Until we curb corruption I feel there is nothing we are doing.

We need our police to stop being so easily bribed to turn a blind eye. The real criminals go free while they harass loyal citizens for made-up charges!!!
