Since more and more houses have been built in Lingwood the natural drainage has been lost resulting in the water having to go down the drains but the system was already at capacity and now cant cope hence the problems with flooding in the area. Its about time this is remedied before any more are built as the problem will only continue and get worse. At the moment we are missing out on a very important part of the local villages life with the pub being closed.

Flooding is becoming a regular occurrence around our villages. The drains are not man enough to cope. Many ditches on the roadside are not maintained. Hedges on the edges of fields have been removed or not maintained so water just pours off the fields adding to the problem silting up the existing drainage system...... and we are facing an increasing problem with more housing and inadequate infrastructure.

Local businesses struggle enough, without having this to deal with too. And making people walk through raw sewerage is totally unacceptable.

Should never have happened. Maybe the insurance companies should get involved as the Council are failing in their responsibilities.

I agree something must be done, we regularly visit the huntsman to support local businesses, they will be losing significant income. I am also having garden dug up by BT for second time in 4 years as floods have damaged phone line.

Please please get this matter rectified. I have lived here 20 years and as has been pointed out in this day and age should not be happenning. With more houses planned and more pressure put on the sewage dranage system, this has to be sorted before they are built.

If money can be found to rectify problems with the Postwick Hub, why can't money be found to sort out the surrounding roads prone to flooding.

This is a great pub run by friendly people used by many locals. Regular flooding on this stretch of road is disgraceful and the council should rectify the problem immediately so that it will not occur again in future.

This needs to be addressed immediately. Our properties, businesses and way of life is affected every time we have these local floods. Its time the Council did something with our Council Tax and spend it protecting us from the flood waters
