A horrible travesty of justice was committed on the American people on July 5, 2011, via a "NOT GUILTY" verdict on murder charges against Casey Marie Anthony in the Ninth District Court of Florida. We, The American People, the undersigned, do hereby request and petition United States Attorney for the Central District of Florida, Robert O'Neill, and U.S. Attorney general, Eric Holder, to bring forth Federal charges against Miss Casey Marie Anthony for the numerous civil rights violations committed against her deceased daughter, Caylee Marie Anthony. We further believe that a federal prosecution against Casey Marie Anthony would serve legitimate interests central to the American system of justice, which was impeded and undermined by the returned verdict of acquittal that was delivered by the jury in that case, Numbered, 48-2008-CF-015606-0 of the State of Florida.
