This is the last Sam store around . It should be a tourist designated store as mostly only the local people know it exists. A lot of people miss Sam's and would be glad to know there is still one left. A huge amount of tourists come to the Quinte area and would stop in if they knew it was here.

I have been a Sam the Record Man customer since I moved to Toronto in 1978 and am glad to continue to be one since moving back to Glan Miller.

I worked at this location, ran by a wonderful family. Hope to see this all work out :)

lots of memories Sam the Record man. I remember the downtown huge one..Im proud to live near Belleville with the last Sam the record man!!!...

with this being an iconic music franchise story how could the government not see this as a tourist attraction. Great Idea,

Sams is indeed an Icon of times gone buy and the sole survivor I support the move to receive designation and signage. It will help not just Sams, but retailers in Belleville on a whole.

Sam the Record Man is an iconic part of many of our lives. In an effort to maintain ties to the past and not bulldoze over everything for big box stores and multinational "all-look-alike" stores, we need to celebrate this store.

This location has been a staple in the Quinte mall for decades. It still has that retro feel and would definitely be an amazing attraction.

Great store, it deserves the recognition.

Seems to me that Belleville, and this entire region of Ontario, needs all the economic help it can get. Surely the cost of the sign can't be prohibitive, so I would like to know the Minister's reasons for denying this request.

Sam's is an awesome store I recently got back into vinyl and they have a great selection plus they order in what I want to great friendly staff very helpful ,Thanks very much Pat Graham
