I can't believe it's a question of 'if' Sam receives historical designation, but rather 'when'. Sam's will always hold a special place in my heart. Thanks for being there Sam.

Sam the record man was a staple of my childhood and teen years. I was so saddened and disheartened when the chain closed down. It was a Canadian institution. The last store standing should not only be a tourist attraction but a landmark as well. I would make the trip from Saskatchewan for this in a heartbeat.

I've been buying all my music there for over 20 yrs now. Great, helpful staff, and usually always have what I'm looking for.
