I worked in a Sam the Record Man in the NWT. If I was travelling through Ontario, I would stop there.

Although it's a franchise, it's the last one, and an icon! I make a point of stopping in anytime I pass by Belleville!

Sam the Record Man is an iconic part of the City of Belleville, and a testament to the vibrant music industry of Canada. As the last of its kind, and a reminder of how music used to be sold before the days of Ipods and the Internet, it should be preserved and promoted for all to enjoy!

Because this store supports local musicians and has withstood the test of time it should be designated a tourist attraction. What would the world be like without music in it?

I have bought dozens if not hundreds of CD's from Sam's over the years. Their staff are always helpful. Their support for local artists is important.

Sam the Record Man is iconic Canadian. I support a highway sign and so will many Sam fans!!

Definitely should be done! This is a long standing tradition of our Canadian heritage. I would think Belleville would be proud of this! Looking forward to that sign being up very soon!

Sam's is iconic and should definitely be recognized as a tourist attraction. My eleven and fourteen year old absolutely LOVE listening to music on vinyl and we always stop in when we are at the Quinte Mall.

This would be a good way to permanently honour Sam Sneiderman's legacy. It was awful how even the Toronto Yonge Street store could not be saved. Please help this store be the new retail hub for Canadian music by giving it tourism signage

An iconic Canadian institution that should be recognized in 2017 as part of Canada 150 as we celebrate everything Canadian!
