Throughout Jewish history, Am Yisrael has been victorious and protected whenever they have been united. The events of the Simchas Torah war have made us all painfully aware of the dangers we bring upon ourselves by being fragmented.
With that in mind, we the undersigned commit to being part of a worldwide movement of Jews to create achdus (brotherhood) and unity across our people. Since the horrors perpetrated by Hamas that initiated the Simchas Torah war were so abhorrent, we need to take real, significant, tangible action in creating good in the world to combat the evil.
Each person who signs this petition commits to mending a relationship that has been damaged between him or her and another fellow Jew. It could be a relative, a friend, a co-worker. Anyone. The only thing required is to identify (privately, for yourself) who the person is and commit that within 48 hours of signing the petition you will initiate concrete steps in an attempt to mend the relationship.
